When I was thinking about placing a blog and wanted a header I thought of all the things that made a snap shot of my life and what I like to do so I was pretty pleased about the bare chested guy picture that is up!

That was just to say that I have met loads of people on cruises that I take every couple of years and if you have never been on a cruise you really need to put this on your bucket list.

The first cruise that I did I was a little nervy I suppose I shouldn’t have watched the Titanic Movie time and time again…I loved that movie. But the beauty of a cruise is that I went with all of the relations and it was such a fun time. Each evening we would meet on the deck to watch the sun go down with a glass of bubbly and it was so special.

Moving along the header you see wine and food, they say every picture tells a story not that I am a wino or anything like that in fact I am a 2 glass screamer but I do enjoy good quality wine and nice simple food. In my family I suppose I am the matriarch where they all come for advice and a few home truths, lucky them!

That’s our family though and the best part of being in one that is so whacky is that you can tell them a few home truths when they get too full of themselves and they still love you regardless!

They say that every person would have a book in them I think I could write many volumes, some sad, lots of laughs of the people that I have met and loved that has passed through my life. On this earth you are here to learn the lessons of life, and that is what happens with the people you meet.

Some stay for a while and leave, others are lifelong friends and your rock in life. Others you are glad that they kept on walking on!

Still telling my story about the header you haven’t nodded off yet have you? At one point in my life around about 5 years ago I was looking for something to do to bring in a few extra dollars not really wanting to finish work and then do another job I wanted something that I could do at night after dinner.

My brother is an Search Engine Optimization guru and has made good money online so without saying anything to him (he tends to lecture) I went about trying to pick up internet marketing. I really thought it would be so easy and what took my brother 10 years to master I thought I would do in months…wrong.

One of the first home truths was I didn’t know how to put up a website and I relied heavily on friends, family anyone that could help me. Have you ever been frustrated that you cry. Well that was me 5 years ago but I didn’t let it beat me and did the first course.

I poured over that course every night burning the midnight oil. Watching the video and replaying it stopping it at the parts that I didn’t get. I used Adsense at first to try to make my fortune, the routine was I would click on the Adsense account and there was nothing in it. I just thought that when the site was up you got paid…how silly I felt jumping around dancing in the office one day rather than seeing nothing I saw 52 cents!!

In a quest to make money I lost a stack of it as I was sucked in and purchased all the courses and of course their online tools that would make it easier. Long story short I came across the course that changed everything, He made sense and was not full of crap that others had sucked me in with the lure of making money. You know there are people in your life you click with or are drawn to and Brian Johnson was that person.

Again, I purchased his course on Halloween of all things. This amused me as I am Australian and Brian American and I have never thought in a zillion years would be promoting Halloween. The family rolled their eyes and thought here we go again..you know the look you can get from them.

Anyway I worked damn hard learning and then doing what I needed to do. Learning not only to put up a site but how to do the SEO (like my brother) learn about affiliate marketing. And then the dollars started to come, Brian said they would. And every day was better than the last not huge amounts but regular money. The internet marketing is addictive as you always want to improve.

I am sorry to have gone on about this and will continue another night and as I think it is good to get truth out there on what it is really like to struggle and not the BS that is promised to make you rich overnight. Hate to say it guys there is no silver bullets.

Still moving across the header it covers my other passions on cooking and this gives me such great pleasure. I usually don’t use recipes much to the disapproval of friends who ask how I did this or how I made that.

I also have a picture of a yucca and I grew a few of these as I like no fuss gardens and thought I can’t kill these plants with an axe and guess what you can’t! They are great I am busy working during the day and have no time to muck around these are the types of plants that can thrive indoor and out…perfect plants.

And lastly on my header is a dog this is not my dog but it filled in the blank spot on the header lol!. I have been a bit thingy about dogs and have had them when growing up but I am particular about smells, fur and them licking. In fact I used to say to my sister Margaret and thing that licked their bum couldn’t sit on my lounge. This all got a laugh from the family that was until about 6 months ago I got a Cavoodle as a dog breeder friend of mine pointed out she said “you paid all that money and it’s a mongrel Jen”

Gemma has won my heart and is now 7 months old and yes she does lick her bum and sit on my lounge. I must get a new picture of her and put up on my blog.
